KHIZI - "RAINBOW MOUNTAINS" - JANGI

Our off-road tour between Dizavar (Khizi district) and Jangi (Gobustan district) will create unforgettable memories. During our off-road tour you will have chance to see rare tree types, caves, mud volcano, summer pastures in mountains, small lakes, the lifestyle of migrant shepherds and most importantly the "Rainbow Mountains", which is named by ourselves. During the trip, you will make short-distance hiking and you will be admired by the unique Khizi mountain rivers, forest, meadows and colorful hills.

According our tour plan, the first station on the Dizavar direction will be “Euphrates Poplar Reservoir”. It is worth noting that this desert poplar spread in the arid zones and dry river valleys of North Africa, China and the Middle East. These 140 trees have got local importance and in Azerbaijan you can find them only there. You will see the caves on the high hill which is located along the roadside. After Dizavar village we will move to the Khizi`s summer mountain pastures by passing old mountain roads, forest, nearby volcano and stiff uphills. After exploring the small lakes and the lifestyle of migrant shepherds (because of migration they may not be there), we will go for a short hiking to the “Rainbow Mountains”. During the tour, you will be briefly informed about the geographical names and the lifestyle of the local people.

17:40 We will reach to Jangi village and move to Baku
