ACTIVE HIKING - HOT SULPHUR SPRING

We think that this easy tour is ideal for hiking lovers. After reaching Dahna village you will immediately forget tiredness of the road. After starting from village, our hiking will continue 4 km along the Dehnacay valley. You will admire by the beauty of the river, the meadows, the forest and the rocky landscapes. At the end, as the bonus you will take a hot sulphur bath.

 

According to our tour plan, we will move to the Dahna village from the district center by UAZ  (4x4 Russian car) cars. The mountain and river views which you will see for the first time will not leave you bored. Our route starts from Dahna village of Guba district and continues through Dahnacay river. The old path crosses river several times and leads us up and down along the river. As we will have to cross the river many times, we will go into the water with shoes. By this way we will protect ourselves from injuries and time losing. We strongly recommend you to take another pair of shoes and socks. The river is shallow and stream is slow but the water is cold. Note that, during our hiking your legs will be wet till your knee. Intensive 8-km-long walk with wet shoes is a difficult test, so be prepared for it. The hot sulphur spring bath is constructed by surrounding villagers. It is located on a small canyon in the small room shaped building. The water is rich in sulfur and other minerals. It is not recommended to stay in for a long time (max 10 minutes). Since ancient times the water attracted local people whoose looked for treatment. Do not forget to take a towel and a swimsuite if you wish to enjoy in a bath. The old ruins on the hiking way will give you an idea about the lifestyle of those who lived there. The thunderous sound of the river flows and spectacular views of the nature will admire you. If you are not afraid to soak your feet, if you like hiking and hot sulphur bath, it will be ideal tour for you!

9:00  We will reach to district center and we will move to Dahna village by offroad (UAZ) cars.

10:30 We will reach to Dahna village. Our hiking will start after 15-20 minutes preperation

12:30 Reaching to hot sulphur spring bath

12:30-14:30 Lunch, leasure time, and bath taking are included 2 hours duration

16:30 We will reach to Dahna village and after 30 minutes preperation we will turn back to the district center.

18:30 Moving to Baku

·If you will take bath, we dont recommend you to take your jewelry. The chemical reactions can occur because of the minerals in the water.
